Instructions
1. Prepare the ingredients.
Wash the banana peels thoroughly.
Cut them into strips.
Slice fresh turmeric root.
Rinse the lemongrass/mint leaves.
2. Cooking
Bring 3 cups of water to a boil.
Add banana peel and turmeric slices.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10–12 minutes.
3. Adding herbs
Add lemongrass or mint.
Simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
4. Strain and serve.
Strain into a cup.
Add honey or lemon if desired.
Serve warm or chilled.
